Read the notes : most enemies give you health, all weapon pickups give you lots of ammo. There are some enemies that would take away health but if you stay away from healthpacks and let the small ones + shooting ones hit you you'll have infinite health. Don't mind the health bar starting to fill up the wrong way :)
